Letter from the Jacobsens
Pastors: If you choose, please read this to our friends at Riverside. We miss everyone so much!
Larry and I arrived at our home in Indiana last Saturday evening. We were relieved we made it safely, without incident, thanks to the prayers of our fellow believers at Riverside. Words fail me in trying to express our thankfulness for Pastor Stevens, Ricky, and Darlene, Zack, and, The Dodson Crew. We have to give special thanks to Lynell. She packed, cleaned, and organized everything during and after the move, including me. Most of all, on Friday, this group was a witness for the cause of Christ to our complex. To a person, my neighbors were amazed at the number of people who showed up and could not believe that everyone was from our church. Merely saying we are thankful is an understatement.
This move for us is bittersweet. For a while, God has impressed on us that we need to be here for our daughter and grandson. During this process, we knew that leaving the church and our friends in Christ would be heartbreaking; and that too is an understatement. Pastor Dean and Pastor Stevens have been a blessing to us that words cannot describe. Riverside Baptist Church, where the Word of truth is rightly divided, will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
Pastor Stevens said we have until May 1, 2022, to get back, and JoAnn has promised to find us a home. God willing, we will see you all once again. Until that day, may God continue to bless Riverside Baptist Church and all of you.
In His Overwhelming Grace,
Larry and Peggy Jacobson
