We have a responsibility to live right before God and man. Scripture puts this right and responsibility this way: “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” (Philippians 1:21).
Is it no wonder that our youth drift away from the church, cynical about Christianity and disillusioned with the enemic adult examples of an irresponsible Christianity? We are reaping what we have sown. Responsible Christian living requires purity of mind, heart, and soul; a courage for living a responsible life; and a concern for others. This is responsible Christian living!
For the imperfect, ourselves included, there is a way back to full fellowship with our Lord and the privilege to be of service to Him. The way back is I John 1:9.

The “truth” about the Savior is that He is the One and only way to God—the One and only true God. This knowledge of truth and freedom comes from a personal reliance on Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as the only Savior for mankind.

“Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 5:15–16). Tolerance as defined by culture is a myth, and worse, it is a smokescreen to stop churches from spreading the Gospel.
